2011 (F10) BMW 528i
My wife's BMW trunk opened so quickly she was afraid of breaking the rear window. I found out online that shock absorbers/springs usually fail and here it was. It is cheaper in price compared to OEM, but the quality looks the same, installation is simple and easy, no special disassembly and assembly tools are required except maybe a flat head and a phone to watch YouTube. The short one goes on the left side and the long one goes on the right side of the body.
