Hope I like them

I bought these tea towels mainly based on reviews. They were purchased earlier this year and I wanted to put them to good use before reviewing. I wish I knew they were made in CHINA. People are right, they have an odor when you open the package, but after washing it seems to be gone. The smell really makes me wonder what kind of chemical is used and is it the dye or the cotton itself which worries me a bit from that point of view. The colors are beautiful and bright. A rag is already dissolving. Most uncomfortable, I have to change them almost every day because of the awful smell they pick up with use - my other rags get that, but it's probably more of a day 3, which is what I was expecting. I bleach them and they are still alive. They work no better or worse than the terry towels I've used. I will definitely be buying dish towels from Kohl again.
