I use it on my bedside table to hold my iPhone7. I was afraid I'd drop my phone on the floor if I blindly reached for a glass of water in the dark, but there's a rubber grip on the bottom that stopped that from happening. This makes accessing my phone a lot easier and I also like it when my expensive phone isn't lying flat on the table. It holds my phone both vertically and horizontally and makes it easy to access the charging port on the bottom of the phone. I like that I can close it and carry it around, I like the adjustable slider that allows you to hold the phone at different angles. Haven't tried this on my iPad yet, but I see other reviewers have taken and pasted photos, so I'll try it with my iPad for recipes in the kitchen. It appears well made, feels strong and expensive, and is lightweight. I recommend buying.
