cheap but beautiful color: solid sage green. I already have the third ball for a large shawl. For future projects I will probably use higher quality (more expensive) yarn. This is one of my first projects and I didn't want to invest a lot of money in it if it failed miserably. I have found this yarn not very soft on my fingers - a more comfortable yarn to work with, but it does get my hands dirty and (if I work for more than an hour) a little chafed. It doesn't drape very well at the moment but I'm hoping a good wash will help. You can wash the yarn before use as I've heard acrylic yarn gets softer. I haven't washed mine yet and will update this review when I do. In the worst case, I give up the project. It was more of a study project than anything else.
