Switchbot is a great product to use as a workaround to make stupid switches smart. I was a little skeptical before receiving the product, but once I could verify that the adhesive backing was more than strong enough to hold the Switchbot in place, I had no more doubts. I downloaded the Switchbot app, paired my phone with the Switchbot itself and was able to turn my sauna on with my phone via Bluetooth. I should note that I later bought a Switchbot Hub Plus which allowed me to turn on the sauna from anywhere in the world. The smartphone could access the internet to connect to Switchbot Cloud. I would recommend Switchbot and Switchbot Hub Plus to anyone looking for a workaround for existing 'dumb' products in their home to make them 'smart'. Smartphone via Bluetooth right out of the box and via the cloud with the addition of the Switchbot Hub Plus.
