Review on πŸ› οΈ Milescraft Metal Stubby Drill Bit - Model 2320 by Darion Wooten

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good but missing quick change stop shafts

Some reviews complain about the length of the drill bit but the overall length of the 3 small drill bits is 1 7/16" as stated on the packaging and the 2 large drill bits are 1 5 /8" long " (longer than stated 1 9/16"). The fourth photo on the Revain product listing shows unpackaged drill bits with knurled hex shanks used in hex chucks. The drill bits I received have plain hex shanks Used only in magnetic bit holders (see my photo) Packaging says "Impact Ready" and "Impact" They fall out of my Makita impact wrench and small Hitachi folding screwdriver/drill (which I was planning to use to use these drills in hard-to-reach places) as they don't have magnetic bit holders Neighing in my standard square drill chuck or magnetic drill bit extension with flex cable l. I've looked at the drills with a 4x loupe and they are sharpened and lightened fairly well. The split point is 135 degrees symmetrical. I'm writing this review prior to using it because I wanted to highlight the lack of a quickbar, in case that matters. Will change the rating if the exercises don't work well. I have other standard round shank drill bits that usually work more accurately than hex bits, but I bought them, they were on sale and I can foresee the need for them.

Pros
  • Jobber drill bits
