Absolute junk of external components

I don't know if you can find that cheaper than the quality this thing has. The box didn't even look retail like it most likely wasn't, just a white sticker on a regular brown cardboard box with a barcode and product name on it. Upon opening it was clear that it had been used. It might be new but then again the quality is rubbish. The "manual" wasn't even cut straight, and it looks like it was printed on a regular sheet of paper that they cut in 1/4, as some of the other manuals are still visible due to poor cutting quality. Someone is obviously buying them in bulk and reselling them, who knows what you might get. Anyway, I figured I could top the quality if this thing works properly. what wasn't. I plugged it into multiple ports on 4 different computers at work and at home and none of them recognized the device let alone plugged anything in. Even with different cables hoping that was the reason I still couldn't get it. to register a piece of cheap aluminum at all. Save your money, add a little more and get something with a real brand. I will, can't even tell the paperweight as it has no weight at all, rubbish, will send this back to sender and hopefully get my money back. I should have known better but it had decent reviews but apparently they're all old so maybe they started cutting corners last year.
