I bought these cups for Thanksgiving because I had a lot of families for dinner. I couldn't get enough of my ceramic mugs, plus they just don't hold much liquid. So I just figured we could all have the same sized cups and they would hold enough liquid without spilling. It was a good decision. These mugs are durable (I use them all the time and have reused them 6 and 7 times and they are still in good condition - just dirty inside). The only downside was that one of my guests asked for a top so she could take it and I didn't have one. I'd really like to buy a set of vertices, but that was my decision (didn't think we'd need them). Next time I will order the ones with tops! Also, the outer material is such that you can actually hold on to a cup (I have arthritis and have a hard time holding on to anything) and you don't feel warm at all. I will definitely buy them again but with tops of course!
