Perfect Fit for 2010 Mazda 3, Full Dead Pedal Footrest Protection!

These are great floors. The two main options for the 2nd generation Mazda 3 are the Husky or Weathertech, and while Weathertech makes great floor coverings, their version for this car doesn't have as much coverage as theirs. For some reason Mazda has missed some protection on the "dead pedal" footpeg on these vehicles, so the carpet in that area is badly worn with regular floor mats. I wanted the flooring to protect that specific area, and these Huskies fully protected that area of the carpet while the Weathertechs only showed up halfway. That was the main reason why I chose her. I am very happy with them. The all-around fit is great and the spiked teeth on the back keep it securely in place. The part covering the fuel filler flap latch isn't a problem at all, and while you can cut it out if you'd like, I left it for defense. I'm really glad they cover this area as the fuel filler flap on these cars is in a very vulnerable position for dirt and slush to flow from your feet as you get in and out. You only need to lift the mat a little and you can easily pull the lever. In my opinion, this range is ideal. My only criticism is that I wish the rear liners protruded a bit further under the front seats. They cover enough legroom for passengers, but if you stow things under the seats, they can get caught in front of the bolsters since they have a raised lip. I would also like Husky to make a hatchback cargo liner to match, but this is not a criticism of floor liners, just a desire for another product that is as good as them.
