Review on Dynatron K17 πŸ’¨ Cooling Fan with Heatsink by Joe Patterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent cooler; not very good fan

This is a quality cooler. I remember the old days when the base of the radiator had to be lapped to make it flat. It looks flat with base material and heat pipes. In the past few weeks I've bought a K17, R17 and two R27s for various builds. All of the heatsinks seem to be of good quality and all of the associated fans are not very good (one broke). I like to build ducts that attach to the case fan and push hot air out of the case. Here is my build for my HTPC: - Silverstone Lascala Series SST-LC13B-E-USB3.0 - Seasonic SS-460FL2 - Supermicro X10SLM+LN4F-O - Intel E3-1230v3 - Two Kingston 4GB ECC KVR1333D3E9S unbuffered RAM sticks - Intel 510 series (Elm Crest) SSDSC2MH120A2K5-XFX AMD Radeon R7 250 1GB R7-250A-ZLH4 CPU idle temperature is 25Β°C with air duct installed. The CPU temperature reaches 55 Β°C under full load with Prime95.
