First off it works - my tank is intact and I'm not worried about anyone getting stuck in the intake. I definitely don't regret my purchase. In this case, the handset that comes with the kit cannot be connected. I struggled with this for almost half an hour before asking my husband for help and even he struggled. First try soaking the end of the hose in hot water, here's what ended up working. The pump is very noisy - it vibrates so much it rattles against anything it touches. Either think of a different pump or do what I did and make a pillow for it (I put it on top of my sock lol). All in all it's great. But the setup was ridiculous and the pump was loud.
