Insufficient Friction on Ball

Reliable assembly but the rubber compound on the ball head was disappointing. I tightened the proprietary RAM clamps as tight as possible, even using pliers to ensure they were secure. still slips with the phone. I haven't had this problem with branded RAM mounts.

This AMPS 25mm / 1" / B size iBOLT plate is made of durable composite material with a rubber coated ball joint and is compatible with all standard 1" / 25mm mounting brackets. The ball joints are coated with rubber material.
