Review on 🚜 Cascadia 4x4 Flipster V3: Ultimate Winch License Plate Mounting System - Hawse & Roller Fairlead Compatible by Tyler Smith

Great mount for those of us who need to fit faceplates to cars. Laid a mine on a 16 Rubicon with a Warn 10S winch and fairlead. The quality, fit and finish of the furnishings are excellent. I've had the Flipster for over a week now and have driven the jeep off-road many times. The mount is rock solid and I love how I can fold out the plate for easy access to the winch. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a solid plate mount. Friendly Look: Due to the thickness of the Flipster mounting plate and cable routing, your guide bolts may be too short to get a good grip after installation. Not a product defect but a feature of the standard winch. Ideally, one person should install this update when installing the winch so they can insert the new, longer bolts. In my case, I installed the Flipster after my winch was in place. At first it was a little tricky to loosen the existing fairlead bolts as you had to insert a wrench behind the bumper/fairlead to hold the head of the bolt while you unscrewed the nut on the outside of the fairlead. Second, to ensure I could comfortably fit the nut to the bolt after the Fliptster and pulley were reattached, I had to grind down the bolt holes for the Warn Idler (easy to do with a Dremel and a metal grinder). Initially, without grinding, two to three threads of the screw with shank and Flipster mounting plate were visible. After grinding the screw holes on the cable guides I could see 4-5 threads. I could probably live with a standard bolt length, but with Murphy's Law and the way I use my Jeep (primarily off-road), I didn't want to lift or lose the bracket, guide and faceplate. Your experience may vary depending on the winch and fairlead.
