I wanted to give this product less stars due to a small defect in the product that was delivered. The key had a ridge that prevented it from being inserted more than halfway. I removed the burr with a small file and the lock works great. turns easily and very evenly. I like the brass barrel and pins and find they last longer than cheap locks. The main reason I upgraded this to 5 stars is because the customer service was the best I have ever encountered. They immediately offered an exchange or full refund and proceeded with me until I was satisfied. Once the burr was removed the lock was perfect and I decided to keep it, but customer service said they had contacted their quality control department and asked for more thorough checks. Rarely have I ever heard of such attention and it is important to me. The steel and other materials are of high quality and the lock sealing works well. I have no doubts that I can recommend this set.
