I love how relatively modern this light looks, it sits flush with the ceiling. Both aspects make them look good in our hallway and match the lamps in the kitchen, dining room and living room. I even deducted a star because the light in our hallway is SO bright, it's almost too bright. However, I'm sure most people will see that as a plus, especially when the entire room is lit. When it comes time to replace our hall light I will buy it again and maybe get a lower wattage LED bulb. Post. I bought a second one and our neighbor who is an electrician had trouble installing it. So I spoke to the contractor who installed the first one. He confirmed that installing it was a huge pain. Both installers said the light did not come with the correct hardware for flush mounting. I actually have to pay a contractor to come back and fix the electrical so the light is flush with the ceiling.
