Review on Nantucket Bicycle Basket Cruiser D Shape by Kevin Singh

Nantucket buckets in bike baskets

I bought a white basket for my Day 6 recumbent bike. I have the coolest bike. The only negative is that people stop and look and ask me where my bike is and interrupt my ride. The basket is great for transporting small items such as a mobile phone, sweater or small jacket, etc. Even my riding buddy asks if she can put her sweater in if she gets a little warm - there's plenty of room. I use it to collect freshly baked bread to take home after a trip. Like it a lot! The basket has two leather straps with a buckle. This is perfect for my bike. I tie it to the bottom of the handlebars and it hangs directly over the front wheel (make sure to measure from the handlebars to the top of the wheel). It's solid and doesn't bounce (which was an issue initially). I'm not afraid that he will loosen and fall. The straps are well made and should last for years. The only negative, if it bothers you, is that if left unprotected, anyone can just unzip it and take it with them; but there is nothing that can stop a determined thief. They probably would have taken the whole bike if it wasn't tethered. It's sad that we have to think about it! Finally, I like the front basket a lot more than adding all the rear basket accessories. The savings and the way the car looks are perfect for me. No wings or additional equipment were added.
