I bought this bag to pack ski stuff in for a storage unit when moving. The bag is very large and fit 4 pairs of ski pants, 4 ski jackets, socks, longjohns, and many other items including a helmet. I would highly recommend this bag to move large amounts of clothes. I do not think it would hold up super well being airplane checked multiple times but would do great for 1-2 trips on a plane or many trips in a car. Empty bag weights next to nothing because it is that very light nylon material. Extra bonus is the side zippers that provide easy storage for some quick to reach items.
