Review on πŸ“ž CX100 IP Phone Communicator Model: Enhanced Communication Efficiency and Seamless Connectivity by Sandra Johnson

Ideal for live meetings and a communicator

I bought this Polycom CX100 USB speakerphone to use my laptop for conference calling with a live meeting or Microsoft Communicator as I often find myself in a small conference room or I'm in my office with 3 or 4 people and there's no way to just get them talking. Using speakers and a mic never works well with feedback and echo, so I decided to give it a try. The speakerphone was terrible, we tried several times to improve the call quality, but in the end I connected the CX100 to my laptop and connected to my college via the communicator and the quality was excellent, even in a large conference room we were able to make it through perfect here and he said the sound is great and no echo. Just today in practice the trainer was having trouble with the setup so I hooked it up to the CX100 and when 3 people were removed and 15 back in the room the sound was great on both ends. On Windows 7, just plug in the device and it will be recognized and set as the default for your device and live meeting. There are 2 buttons on the front of the device with icons showing calling and hanging up but doing nothing so I'm giving it a 4 for features. Other than that it's a perfect device and I'm sure it will work just as well with it becomes skype or any other voip over computer. Definitely recommend.
