They are very cheap. Both in price and in quality. I've only taken them off twice and the color falls off immediately. Slots the nut and even more so the socket you put it in. This definitely helps chew the coating faster. To be honest I use punch. I know it strips the coating off the cheap studs. I do not care. It's comfortable and it's the real world. I have a quality set of cleats on another machine that is used a lot more on hits and the coating isn't coming off. The weapon counts, but not so much the workmanship. They haven't broken yet. I can say that this is a positive thing.
