No problems with the nuts themselves

Have had them for about a year and have had no problems with the nuts themselves. I tightened them, tightened again after a few hundred miles, had to remove a tire to get the valve stem closed replace, re-tightened, no problems. But when I went to redo it a few hundred miles later, the nest they came with split. This socket is quite thin. Luckily there were 2 sockets, so I have one more. Will have to take another one.

Contact pad is perfect, retesting torque showed no problems

I used these spline nuts on my Can Am Spyder which has recessed lugs with very small diameter notches. Included with the tool, these wedges fit perfectly and leave plenty of room for tool spacing. Your washers must have a 60 degree contact surface to work and the tool provided is used in conjunction with a 3/4 inch socket. I suggest you don't use an impact gun as the black finish may chip. The contact patch is perfect and a second torque check showed no problems.

They look like standard nuts but are a little trickier to remove

Bought these for my Can-Am Maverick X3. It took me a while to realize that my "toys" had more money on wheels and tires than my truck. I didn't want to have a large exposed lock nut next to each other so a good set of black slots would do the trick. At first glance they look like standard nuts, but since they require a slotted head to remove, I feel a little more relaxed when the unit is left standing at night. The tapered saddle was slightly smaller than the standard lugs, but they seemed toโ€ฆ

Wow. So cheap! on Tires and Wheels

They are very cheap. Both in price and in quality. I've only taken them off twice and the color falls off immediately. Slots the nut and even more so the socket you put it in. This definitely helps chew the coating faster. To be honest I use punch. I know it strips the coating off the cheap studs. I do not care. It's comfortable and it's the real world. I have a quality set of cleats on another machine that is used a lot more on hits and the coating isn't coming off. The weapon counts, but notโ€ฆ

Wrenches too thick and wide for my wheels

Wedge tips are fine but wrenches have been my problem. They are too wide/thick to easily fit into my wheel eyelets. When I pulled the cleats down, I felt a lot of resistance at first. I figured the grommets would just have to be broken in, but as soon as I tried to tighten the fifth grommet the wrench didn't fit at all. I decided to remove all the protrusions and saw the key stuck in the metal of the wheel removing the paint. Orion was kind enough to refund my money immediately. If you buyโ€ฆ

Make sure you blow out the sawdust inside.

I bought these for a 2019 Polaris RZR 900 Trail. Thread pitch and thread length are good. The quality control of internal processing seems to be on the bad side. Luckily I only needed 16 out of 20. One of the tabs didn't even start threading. Another damaged the threads on the bolt so badly that I had to replace it. The original lug nuts have never been removed and the car has only been driven about 30 miles so I know they were undamaged to begin with. I handle them very carefully as I haveโ€ฆ
