Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhanced SKS Mud-X Downtube Fender for Better Performance by Harald Patterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good cheap fender is a decent size for its weight.

Very easy to fit, design fits a variety of bikes. I have a bike with an incredibly thick carbon top tube and it fits perfectly. Not sure why people think this is too low - many mountain bikes use MUCH less than that. If you want a full front fender then go for a full front fender. That's not a wing, that's a fender - another thing. The fenders should keep water completely on the tire and have virtually no clearance. They need to be adjusted very carefully if you want to get the best performance. Fenders like this are just a cheap piece of plastic that will give you 80-90% protection from splashes. It's MUCH better than nothing and can be put on and taken off in seconds while a real grand piano takes around 10 minutes and tools.

Pros
  • cute item
Cons
  • Big and chunky
