I have tried different brands over the years and finally settled on this one. I commute 20 miles by bike home from work and it's important for me to find reliable things to stock up on my emergency repair kit so I'm not stuck in the middle of nowhere. I run tires inflated to 120psi and in my experience they generally do well as a permanent repair for micro tears like a lug. They also work well as emergency repairs for large tears, such as you can find by simply examining the hose without adding air to see where the leak is. If you have a large tear, you'll need to replace the hose when you get home. I used this once on a gap that big and got lazy and just left it on and the patch lasted at 120psi for about 2 weeks before the patch deflated while I was cycling home. For small micro punctures, these patches stayed until I replaced the tire (up to a year). A tip: they are very sticky and you have to be careful not to grab the corner with your thumb or hand. it picks up dirt/grease and loses its stickiness. I like to use my finger to hold the edge and then smooth out the gaps with my thumb. After that there is no waiting time, everything is fine.
