I wear both these (for small holes) and standard sets for patches with glue (for large holes). They are great because the glue doesn't dry before first use and most of my punctures are small. The trick with these patches is to inflate the tube just enough to shape it before applying it. Thus, the patch will not be weakened if the tube is stretched when inflated into the tire. I had high hopes that they would actually work. In some cases, they can work for tiny injection holes. But for normal repairs, they only held about 20 pounds of pressure and started leaking after that. These aren't the usual black spots we grew up with, but a clear square of duct tape.
