The device was very easy to use. The instructions were easy to follow. To read the data, it is advisable to download one of the three applications onto your mobile device. Two have to be paid to read some, and the third is free for basic reading. I just plugged it in, started the car, connected to the reader's WiFi and got all the readings. You can measure a lot of stats about your car that I didn't know you could measure, which is very interesting. Someone's stats are your fuel level, coolant temp, barometric pressure, etc. They also know your make, model, VIN, etc. We don't currently have engine check gauges, but how one of our machines is running. works, I expect to use this feature soon.
