Review on Enhanced Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro Lens by Koichiro Takahashi ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, not disappointed.

Bought for Canon 50D. I did not buy EF glass, because. on crop, any glass for FF gives distortion, and is used for only two-thirds of its capabilities = money thrown away. I'm happy with the lens, it's worth the money. Has pros: Qualitatively assembled, USM motor, accurate and fast autofocus, fast, light, very sharp, macro and portraits are very clear, you can literally get into the eye or examine the pores on the skin. Also suitable for narrow-format landscapes. There are no analogues of EF-S Canon. Fix = minimum distortion and HA. With its cons. There is no stabilizer, but it is very necessary, especially if you take pictures with your hands in poor lighting. Luminosity is a bit lacking. You have to shoot a series at once, 5-10 frames, one and it will definitely turn out clear. There is no lens hood in the kit - you can’t go anywhere without it, because. the front lens is not protected by anything. Barely noticeably lathers at the maximum and minimum apertures.

I shoot on it most often, for 9 years of operation it has been well preserved. did not pick up dust, like models with a trunk.

I switched to the Canon macro cell, but this lens left the most pleasant impressions.
