Well I have 2 of these but now I'd like to use a regular window feeder plate which would be cheaper and work better. This worked great until recently when I noticed my SWR going wild on VHF/UHF. I bypassed the window power line and went straight to the radio and the problem was gone. We've had a couple of violent thunderstorms in the past few weeks, so I suspect moisture has gotten into the connector from the outside. Maybe I should have wrapped it in plastic wrap or something but I guess I thought it was built for the outdoors so never thought it needed it. If they didn't cost $55 each, I'd just consider it my own weatherproofing mistake. it, but at this price these things should be bulletproof out of the box.
