A quick and easy way to haul mountain bikes (one 29 " and one 27.5 ") in the back of my truck
Fairly easy to assemble. Uses ski boot style bindings to connect the frame to the tailgate anchor straps. Solid overall, but I suspect the buckles are the most likely point of failure/needs the most careful attention. The installer has a cable and SKS locking system to secure the bike to the device. However, a thief can easily remove the installer itself by simply removing the anchor straps and towing the bike and rack to the nearest vehicle. Pros: ease of use; keeps the bike safe while riding Con: Properly protecting the bike from theft requires a separate locking system
