This is what I was looking for. I wanted the earlier models but read that sweat ruins them but this model is water resistant. I ride my bike and ride for fun and have always wanted headphones that allow me to listen to music without clogging my ears and also hear everything around me. It's not the highest sound quality, but I doubt it gets any better. They sound great for listening to podcasts and light music while working without making my boss uncomfortable like I'm deaf to the rest of the workplace. cycling it's loud enough to listen to decent music while driving, not too loud but you still have to watch out for traffic. The sound quality is normal for music, it degrades at the top end of the volume, it seems like something vibrates on your head at maximum volume and other people can hear it too. but it's ok if you work out or go out as it's noisy outside. I used to use these little in ear headphones but this fills the gap better, I can listen for hours at work, drive and train with the peace of mind that I can hear the outside world and no wires to top it off .
