I've found that it's usually possible to undo one of the screws holding the sun visor in place and a bracket underneath to install screws. It seems to work great, but no matter how it's installed, it vibrates a lot more than your car's rear-view mirror. But I have attached an image showing a way to solve this problem. Take two plastic PVC water pipe fitting caps that fit flat on one end and tape the other PVC ends together. Then spray paint on the round faces to match the colors of your car. Then use the self-adhesive Velcro to attach both flat ends and both mirrors. This is how your original mirror stabilizes the long mirror. The reason for using velcro is that in the future you might want to remove it without damaging anything. Another reason to use velcro is that it can be easily changed if you want to adjust the angle of the mirror up or down to whatever you like.
