Add some oil

One of the product images shows an egg being lifted out of a frying pan with chopsticks. If you grease the pan with a pea-sized ball of butter (one ball per egg cup) you can actually do it. We bought this pan to make eggs and sausage for our own English muffin sandwiches with sausage, egg and cheese. 100% suitable for this job (if you add this oil the egg will stick to the pan a bit without it). Eggs leave almost no marks on the pan after cooking (even if the pan is oiled). Some cooked fat remains on the sausages, but this is removed with a sponge. You can wash this in the dishwasher if you wish, but you don't have to. Rinsing and drying is all that is required. We use it over a gas stove, but it has a round ferromagnetic plate that attaches under the square bottom of the pan (which isn't magnetic). This probably means it will work on an induction cooktop. If you're looking for perfect eggs that fit squarely on an English muffin (and sausages that fit almost perfectly; the sausage will shrink a little), this is the pan you've been looking for. Per. (Elton Brown always says that every kitchen tool should be able to multitask. We don't know if that tool can do anything else or not, and we don't care. Eggs and sausages made from it are perfect for an English muffin. , and that's more than enough for us.)
