I've tried 2 of these. 650 and 750. When I got the 650 I heard a rattling noise inside the PSU. After shaking, a tiny metal ball fell out. I'm not sure where it came from, but I can only assume it's a ball bearing from a fan. I returned it. Shortly after, I ordered a 750 to take another shot and the ECO mode didn't work properly. The fan turned on every 5-10 minutes regardless of the load. My system draws only 350W at FULL LOAD, so the fan should never turn on. I bought a 750 G2 and the fan literally never comes on. Even when tests are running. So I know for sure that my 750 P2 was defective. I really can only recommend the G2 version of these power supplies as the P2 seems to lack quality control. I only give 2 stars because I love EVGA
