A few notes: The jack frame is not 100% the size of the Hi-Lift jack, you can force and bend the flanges after installation. This helps lock the device in place. If your hard top is on a Jeep, you don't have full freedom when opening the glass sunroof. You need to add a big spacer between the holder and the back loop. This also means that you will need new screws. The last thing I had was the last 2 seasons. This was most likely due to repeated hits from the elevator at the entrance to the garage buildings, which were mislabeled, and a bunch of low-hanging trees along the way. Overall, the carrier is a good device for the price.
