I was skeptical at first but very satisfied

Didn't know what to expect from this filter. I feel like with all aftermarket products everyone is trying to sell you an idea as to whether it's true or mostly not true. I didn't notice anything after installing it, and didn't really look to find out. I just kept driving as usual and see what I think after a while. I would say that the two things mentioned about aftermarket filters, performance and noise, are negligible. I did not notice the difference, it seemed to me stock. However, one thing that suddenly came to my mind is mpg. Well, when it comes to the 2020 GT, I'm sure some of the cleanest of them all hate talk of cost per gallon and V8s, but if you drive it daily, it's worth talking about. Now for the record: I drive 95% highway and typically drive 80 mph for a total of 80 highway miles per day with traffic restrictions. The first time I changed the filter I didn't notice any change. I religiously reset my mpg counter now so I know what I should be getting on each trip. What I noticed over time was an increase in fuel economy. You see, my mpg hasn't skyrocketed, a few tenths here and there, but I soon got legally 1-2 mpg higher than my baseline. I kept improving fuel economy, I went from 25 to 27. I struggled for 4 days to get fuel, hell sometimes I couldn't; I cut it almost most of the time, but it was doable and it was mostly consistent. But now it has become easier to get fuel out of the car for 4 days. See it didn't turn the car into a Prius, it just saved my ass on my app and gave me more peace of mind because after 4 days of driving I didn't have to turn the fuel gauge up on the way home in the day 4.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Negative gift
