Not as advertised, fits in protective gear
Comes in packaging marked Gun Lock. It's definitely not 14 inches, maybe 7 max. It's a lock, yes it protects your helmet? If you have a place that takes up the lack of length. I was able to mount my helmet on the handlebars and thread it through one of the bars, but it was quite difficult for me to reach it to lock and unlock. Just spend a little more money and buy a real helmet lock.
