Exceeded expectations!

I was a little put off by the reviews. Also, I already knew that Carplay and Android Auto had wifi issues. I am so happy with my purchase. The phone (iPhone) was connected immediately and works perfectly. As long as your Android stereo is reasonably decent and can install the app mentioned, it should be very easy to install. Hope that helps. :)
