Actually, I bought it only in order to connect a standard USB to the Type-C power bank. Connected, the mobile is charging. And just in case (what if it comes in handy?), I checked it by connecting a standard 32 gig flash drive through it to the Type-C laptop: it sees the flash drive, shows the files. In the same way, I checked it as an OTG adapter by plugging this prefabricated structure into the Type-C of a smartphone: it also works. I did not check the data transfer rate, because I did not buy it for this. From me, I have the same review for another adapter, do not be surprised: I bought them at the same time for the same purpose and checked them at the same time and in the same way.
