This hub works well with USB devices and looks good. I even tested charging the tablet using the high-capacity charging port and it seemed to work fine. But here's the rub. The description says "The USB Powered Charging Hub's 3 USB FAST CHARGING PORTS deliver up to 2.4A each." This suggests that you can charge all 3 ports at 2.4A each, and here they lead you completely astray. The power adapter that comes with the hub is rated at 3.0A. Yes, ONLY 3.0A TOTAL. That's very small for a 7-port hub. USB 3.0 is rated for up to 1.0A per port, so you can surpass them with regular USB ports. The manufacturer should change its description in order not to mislead people and to accurately represent this device. The box it came in clearly says it's 3.0A. And I will repack it and send it back. Anker has a 10 port hub which I will be buying instead. It doesn't have lighted ports, but it's rated at 60W, giving you up to 12A of charging current for your devices, not just 3A.
