Bought 2 packs received all 4. GREAT DEAL Buy 2, Buy 1. Each has a truncated end making it easy to stand upright in the aquarium. Mine are currently being soaked in a bucket of R/O water. I leach them once or twice, they throw them in my South American aquarium. Some things to know about Mopani wood before you buy it: 1. Mopani releases tannins from your water no matter how much you boil, rinse, soak or swear. If you can't afford to lower your overall pH, buffer your water or if you don't like tea-colored water. Buy a different kind of driftwood. But there are fish that like heavy black water with tannins, like some cichlids and shrimp. Do your homework and do what's right with your fish.2. Mopani is very hard, so without soaking it for weeks it will sink instantly. You should still soak it overnight in aquarium water or R/O water if available. This product is commercially processed and therefore fairly safe. If you buy Mopani from any other non-commercial source, you must go through a disinfection process. Google it.3. That is hard. A piece the size of a brick weighs about the same as a real brick. Place it carefully in your aquarium. Make sure more aggressive species can't knock it over and hurt themselves.4. You can bolt it together in most freshwater installations with durable, high quality stainless steel bolts. It will not twist easily. Expect fights lol. I have a four foot piece of Mopani that I bought elsewhere and these little guys gave it some support to raise it off the bottom of the tank to allow the water to flow better and keep my tank clean. My growing fish like to jump under and around Mopani and groom him when they get bored. These pieces are also perfect for rooting plants like Anubias Nana and Nana petite, even java moss. In short, a great deal, get them when you need them. :) If you expect a Mopani to act like a Mopani and don't expect an overly branched blunt formation (which you'll never find at this price point), this is for you. These are excellent solid products with knots and two tone grit. I will definitely come again.
