Review on ๐ŸŒŠ Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag: Top-Quality Roll-Top Waterproof Storage Solution by Chad Myers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sea to Summit has another great dry bag

Sea to Summit is known for their wide range of dry bags, duffel bags and compression bags. This stuff sack does not disappoint. I used it as a bear bag for a 5 day trip for two and it had more than enough space. We had heavy rain for two nights and everything inside the bag was still dry while the outside dried out quickly. A nice little feature is the fact that it has 2 rings next to the clip, making it easy to hang from a rope and ensuring the rope doesn't cut into the fabric of the bag itself. I saw a bag being cut with a rope because a person could only hang it in direct contact with the loop of the rolled bag. I'm sure this bag will be with me for many years to come and I hope to continue using it on future hikes that require a lot of food. Disadvantages: - Expensive - Heavier than ultralight dry bags.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Expensive
