The fabric is easily punctured!

PROS: Good capacity at 35 liters Reasonable price CONS: It seriously lacks durability and is not waterproof. The bag has never been submerged in water and the clasp has been properly rolled up. It turned out that several pin-sized holes had formed in the thin fabric from two sets of keys we kept inside. Our phones and other electronics get wet. I want Sea to Summit to make a bag that will stand up to the most basic uses. I may try their "hydraulic" bag before giving up the brand, but I'm notโ€ฆ

Misleading Rated Capacity

So this dry bag appears to be good, but I was very disappointed to see that the bag's volume claim is based on its UNSEAL volume, which is at best useless and at worst intentionally misleading. I bought a 3 liter bag thinking I could store a 3 liter load in it but they don't tell you to roll the top of the bag THREE TIMES to get a proper seal which makes about half the internal volume of a 3 liter bag is eliminated. This issue would be less of a problem with larger sizes but if you buy this you

The best dry bag! suitable for rowing and sailing

I like this stuff sack. I use it for paddling at least twice a week. I like the eyelash dots on the sides of the bag. I have a small carabiner on each of them so I can just put my bag on the black cords at the front of the board and just hook it up. Then I can use it as a glove box on the front of the board. Going nowhere Totally waterproof when folded and snapped into place. love love love Made from a great lightweight material and not the plastic or rubber found on cheaper bags. Also, theโ€ฆ

Hypalon Heavy Duty Dry Bags

EXCELLENT Hypalon Nylon Webbing Dry Bag. They are much better, more flexible and more durable than traditional clear or colored plastic (Vinyl/PVC) desiccant bags. I use these dry bags for many purposes beyond the norm. In this case I used two dry bags of this size (20L) to cover my two new Fulton F2 cast aluminum winches (FW16000101) which I also bought from Revain for my Sea Doo Zieman tandem trailer. These aluminum winches replaced my original open top galvanized winches originally suppliedโ€ฆ

Sea to Summit has another great dry bag

Sea to Summit is known for their wide range of dry bags, duffel bags and compression bags. This stuff sack does not disappoint. I used it as a bear bag for a 5 day trip for two and it had more than enough space. We had heavy rain for two nights and everything inside the bag was still dry while the outside dried out quickly. A nice little feature is the fact that it has 2 rings next to the clip, making it easy to hang from a rope and ensuring the rope doesn't cut into the fabric of the bagโ€ฆ

Superb Coleman Stove Stuff Bag

Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag 3 Liter I bought this as a duffel bag for my Coleman Compact Dual Fuel Stove while hiking and car camping. I wanted something that would protect the rest of my gear from gasoline fumes and sharp oven edges, but I didn't want to lug around a giant plastic Coleman storage box. A gallon size Ziploc bag will no longer cut. Pros: - The material is thick enough and strong enough to soften sharp edges on pot supports. The fact that the rolled lid also thickens over theโ€ฆ

Quality costs, it is the best value for money!

These are excellent dry bags. The material is thick enough to be durable without making the bags stiff, heavy, inflexible, or unwieldy when empty. These are my kayak bags. They're really well made, durable and the hardware is top notch too. There are tons of stuff sacks available for purchase here on amazon. Most are less expensive. Keep in mind that a lot of these are for organizing your gear and then loading it into a backpack or holdall, so the material isn't really capable of withstandingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • unreliable

I bought a 13L Big River Dry Bag. It works really well for me and I'm glad I didn't try to save a few bucks by going with a cheaper brand. I use it to put my phone/wallet/keys/snacks/sunscreen on when I'm out on the water for short trips. The meticulous and obvious quality of a dry bag justifies the investment in quality equipment! ADVANTAGES: Durable appearance. I don't think anything could break. - The top rolls up easily. If one day I don't put that much in my bag, I'll just keep folding it.
