WOW very impressed

These are the first pots I bought after my wedding. Literally 15 years ago last week as I write this. My old pans were fine but difficult to clean and the copper bottom never heated evenly. This set is a big improvement for me. Let's talk about pots first. Solid stainless steel looks nice. I've made the stew, glaze and soup so far. It was the first time I didn't have to watch out for the icing. The corners didn't burn, as usual. These pans heat evenly. The soup came out delicious and the stew was pan fried but then baked in the oven to top it off. It turns out wonderful. My kids actually fought over the remains. The clear glass lids are so pretty that you can watch your soup without having to constantly take the lid off. My old set had steel toes. The lids sit securely on the pans, falling off is impossible. Now about pots. I am in love with her. My old set had an old nonstick coating and couldn't be put in the oven or heated over medium. These are way better. Fried chicken, fried fish and one of those savory side dishes I can't name but they use hamburger meat. They all came out perfect. Fish has never been fried like this. It was difficult to turn it over because it just slid over the pan, can you imagine? I used to have to clean it no matter how much oil I used. The largest pot has an assist handle and I can't tell you how valuable it is. The hamburger side dish gets quite heavy while cooking and was necessary to help me get it off the stove without hurting my wrist. Again, the lids fit all pots snugly so you can cover and simmer as needed. Save the best for last: the cleaning. OMG, they all go in the dishwasher. Like all. EVERYONE! I almost cried, I was so happy. No more scrubbing and cleaning pots. I wash them immediately and put them in the dishwasher. They come out perfectly clean. If I use the largest pot with the steamer I don't have enough room for it, but I'll happily wash a pot from time to time, not literally every time. One final note: for some reason these stacks look better in my closet than the old ones. They are flat and do not roll over. Plus, the soup flowed right out of the pot without sloshing over the sides. They have flat tops on the pots so they can water without making a mess. I don't usually like celebrity stuff, but this one is a winner. I donated all my old pots and pans. I will never use them again.
