Check out the setup instructions: I haven't used the monitor yet. I ordered a computer and this monitor, but the computer hasn't arrived yet. This review includes installation instructions only. The monitor comes with instructions attached to the front of the monitor. First you need to attach the plate to the back of the monitor. This is the only setup guide. The plate is a VESA plate for mounting the monitor on the wall. The assembly instructions for the VESA mounting plate were also inadequate. You have to remove a screw from the back of the monitor and the instructions don't mention that. By removing the screw, the knurled screw on the VESA plate can be screwed into the hole that has become free. The monitor comes with a table stand. I could not use a table stand with a VESA monitor attached. After removing the VESA mounting plate, installing the desktop stand is straight forward and easy, plus there's fore and aft tilt adjustment. The corresponding installation instructions (in many languages) can be found on the supplied DVD. However, you will need a monitor (and a working computer) to read the installation instructions on the DVD. It would take no more than a few pages to print a minimal guide to setting up a monitor using a desktop stand and mounting plate. Then you don't need a monitor to see how you set it up. I still believe this monitor will perform excellently in the field (when my computer arrives).
