Review on 🔊 HP 32-Inch Display with Olufsen Speakers and 2560X1440P Resolution (N9C43AA) by James Jacobson

The monitor itself is sharp, bright and BIG. This monitor works great with my Mac Pro with a Mini Displayport to Displayport adapter. The monitor comes with a very good quality stand and the form factor is quite appealing apart from the bold huge HP logo on the back. sorry hp They're not Apple, and huge logos only make this product cheaper. Both logos are now covered with tape. Interestingly, the Bang & Olufsen logo is tastefully done in a pleasant grey. I wouldn't cover up the HP logos if they were tasteful. The main reason I bought this monitor was the Bang & Olufsen built-in speakers, which to be honest were a bit disappointing. Probably the best "monitor" speakers I've heard, but they don't quite match the sound I'm used to from other Bang & Oulfsen products. Monitors have some bass, but much of the lower end of the audio spectrum is missing because the drivers simply can't reproduce sound. To be honest, my Beoplay A1 portable Bluetooth speaker puts out more bass than this much larger monitor. Does this monitor deserve the Bang & Olufsen logo? Not as currently configured. You can hear parts of Bang & Olufsen's signature sound in this monitor, but that's not "all". There is no lower area. The audio presence sounds great, but it lacks the sparkle and pop you'd typically get from even an entry-level Bang & Olufsen product. A better logo choice would be Bang & Oulfsen's "Sound Tuned By" or maybe even the company's cheaper brand Beoplay. HP should consider getting Bang & Olufsen's signature HP subwoofer to fill the sound of this monitor. To be honest, if the lower end of the spectrum were there I might not notice that some improvements are missing in HP's mids and highs, which would likely make the B&O work with cheaper drivers. To be honest this is a good start and I hope that Bang & Oulfsen will work with other computer companies. I hope HP improves this product with a little more amplification and better drivers in the future. Bang & Olufsen went above and beyond with what they had to work with. It's pretty decent for the price. Technical characteristics. The maximum monitor resolution is 2560 x 1440. This resolution on a 32-inch display is quite nice as there is a lot of space and the picture gets big. The QHD branding is a bit misleading here. This is not a 4K display. In the state of delivery, the settings are a bit shaky because the pixelated OSD is too big. The color profile needs some adjustment. Once you've fiddled with this display's settings, it's pretty satisfying. I have it next to a 27 inch cinema and get about the same picture quality on both displays. General verdict? It's pretty good for the price. Just understand what you are buying. You don't get a 4K display with full Bang & Oulfsen audio. You are buying a 2560 x 1440 monitor with Bang & Oulfsen tuned sound and limited by the price at which the monitor was designed. I actually agree with that myself, but just wish the marketing message was a little clearer.
