The best 1 cup coffee maker I've ever had. Overflow is no problem with this coffee machine! I have been using this coffee maker for several months and use it every day, several times a day. Several reviews of Revain have complained about overflow issues. Users have not read or followed the instructions. Mine overflowed once when a guest used it multiple times without flushing the secondary filter. This second filter is one of the good features of this coffee maker. This is a very fine filter under the main coffee basket that catches finer sludge that would otherwise end up at the bottom of the coffee cup. The instructions clearly state that it needs to be cleaned (just rinsed under the tap while you empty the coffee basket) every few cups (I do this every 3-5 cups). It's practically effortless. Otherwise, sludge will accumulate and clog the filter, causing back pressure and overflow. One feature I really like about this product is the isolation of the water tank from the coffee basket, making it difficult for the coffee grounds to get into the water source. Pollution has caused the deaths of other manufacturers I have used. Good coffee, well designed, solid block, reliable and beautiful on my kitchen counter. The best I've ever had and I highly recommend it. I have no relationship with the sellers or manufacturers of this product. I rarely review products, but I think this one was judged very unfairly by users who just didn't follow the instructions.
