I did extensive research before buying two monitors. These have proven to be the best for my needs. I use multiple displays at work so I needed something comparable for my home. While the screens look great, are super bright, and have good sharpness, I do have an annoying issue. Every once in a while a screen goes black for a few seconds. After a few seconds it turns on again. This happens on both screens from time to time. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me it was the monitor's auto sleep mode. I couldn't find any settings related to hibernation. The worst thing is that power outages happen at the worst possible moment. I always keep my monitors connected to the network, so I don't understand the concept of hibernation. And this happens during operation, and sometimes 10-15 minutes after the monitor is first turned on. I also don't use monitors all the time as I mostly work in the office. I've learned to work around this problem, but it's bad enough that I wouldn't recommend this monitor. Not sure if this is unique to mine (I doubt it because both monitors have the same issue). These are really great monitors, so if they don't bother you and you have no other choice, buy them. I think if you are looking for a gaming monitor this is going to be a HUGE issue.
