You won't go wrong with original brand filters in your Melitta. In my experience, if I only use original Melitta parts or if original parts are not available from the OEM, they work great and last a very long time. I don't work for a company and I don't take anything for free and I get no compensation for saying this. Ask yourself these questions. If you decide to use inferior replacement parts for a car you rely on, are the savings really worth the safety risks? Would you let a quack give generic drugs to a child? I personally don't answer either question at all: better safe than sorry or worse. In the past, this thinking was common sense and people should practice it. Thanks for a great product.
