This item is advertised as airtight and can be placed in the fridge on its side, but in fact a hard-fought cold drink is dripping and leaking all over the inside, soaking everything. Don't trust the press. Otherwise it works great. I like that the filter tube has a cap at the bottom that can be removed for easier cleaning. It's still messy, but not that hard. The taste is good but it would be nice if the jug came with instructions for the ratio of coffee grounds to water versus concentrate for that particular jug size.
