Just plug and play and works fine but not for some games.
I bought this device to transfer the Real Flight RC simulator screen from the PC to another room and see the big TV in the living room. It worked well overall, the delay wasn't that big, in the 0.1 second range (that's an unscientific statement, but you get the idea), but every now and then there was a 3-4 second spike that just killed. me every time. This should be fine for simple games, but it just didn't work well enough for me.
