Review on 🔀 TRENDnet 8-Port 10G EdgeSmart Switch: Fast 10GBASE-T Ports, 2.5G-5G NBASE-T Support, 160Gbps Capacity, Rack Mountable – TEG-7080ES by David Carmody

Pros: This switch works mostly as I wanted and expected. It offers the solid control you would expect from a managed SMB switch. Lots of options and I'm very happy with the main reason I bought this switch, individual speeds from 100Mbps to 10Gbps on each port. That's exactly what I need for my network. I still prefer copper at home and my devices range from 100MB to 10GB. Cons: I had occasional issues initially with a port or two where devices wouldn't connect properly. It seemed like restarting the Switch could fix it, but it was quite annoying when trying to set up new hardware. Maybe a firmware update will help?
