I thought this radio was bigger when I got it, but it fits nicely in the palm of your hand, with a bright LED flashlight. Sunlight doesn't give it enough charge for my purpose and I tried hand cranking one night, not sure how long that charge lasted. Now I just use my charger to charge the radio and now it plays non-stop at my house. Love it! I have about 17 hours of continuous gameplay. It could probably take longer, but I never checked. And after about 17 hours of play, it takes about 3 hours to charge and I just let it run. I can't wait for the summer when I can really test solar charging. I can get another one for my mom
